About Amberly & Sahara Savannahs
Hi, I’m Amberly, the founder of Sahara Savannahs. If you’ve ever caught yourself staring a little too long at a Savannah cat photo and thinking, “That can’t be real,” you’re my kind of person.
My love for animals has been lifelong. I grew up surrounded by pets and have always been the person who notices the details. The little changes in behavior. The subtle signs of stress. The things most people miss. Over the years, that passion turned into professional experience, including time working in the veterinary field and running a dog rescue. Eventually, it became my full-time career.
Where it Started
I’m also the founder and owner of Pawfect Pet Sitter, where my team and I provide professional, premium-level pet care across North Phoenix & Scottsdale areas. That business was built on reliability, consistency, and doing things the right way. It has taught me how to operate with structure, cleanliness, and high standards, because when you’re trusted with someone’s beloved pets, “good enough” is not an option.
Why Savannah Cats
Savannah cats are in a league of their own. Their wild look, bold spots, tall ears, and confident presence are captivating, but what really won me over is the personality. They’re intelligent, curious, and deeply connected to their people. Many Savannahs don’t just live in your home, they become part of your daily life. They follow you from room to room, want to be involved, and keep you laughing with their athletic, dog-like energy.
To me, the Savannah is the perfect balance of beauty and companionship. Wild in appearance, but capable of forming an incredible bond when raised with care and placed in the right home.

Sahara Savannahs is a boutique program. I’m not here to produce the most kittens. I’m here to produce kittens I’m proud to stand behind.
